Dear Parents and Carers
This week we recommenced our "Whatever You Do, Do Well" awards. It was very exciting to use Microsoft Teams to present these awards and I thank all the students who connected to the assembly.
For this week and next week, the 22th of May, the awards will be presented via an assembly meeting in Microsoft Teams on Friday at 11:30am. Once we are all back at school the time may change but we will let you know.
With the office in its new location please be aware we do not have a dedicated sick bay, children cannot lie down and are only able to sit in the office. During these current times we cannot allow children to stay at school who feel sick or have temperatures. We also cannot use ice packs but we can still treat minor cuts and scrapes and can allow children to use their puffers. We always endeavour to ensure our children are comfortable and able to rest and return to class. We will continue to ask parents to collect children who are feeling unwell as they cannot remain at school.
In preparation for our return to school on the 25th of May we will be setting up our new classroom locations during next week.

We would like to thank Tracey Robertson and family who had Hall & Co send us some beautiful, and delicious, cupcakes for our teachers. It was much appreciated and gave us a lovely Friday afternoon tea.
Mrs Emma McRae our counsellor will still be visiting our school next week on Wednesday the 20th of May.
At this time Emma will be holding her counselling sessions via video conference.
If you would like to make a confidential appointment for your child please contact the office.
From the 25th of May until the end of term you will find us in the following locations:
- Mr Nielsen and Mrs Scott will remain where they have always been. However access is via the back of the building.
- The school office will remain in its new location in the classroom near the grassed area.
- The classrooms will now be located as follows:
- Kinder - current Kinder room
- 1/2 Joy - current 1/2 Joy room
- 3/4 Mercy, Trust and Peace - the school hall
- 5/6 Hope - STEM room upstairs
- 5/6 Faith - in the classroom next to the current office and canteen
- Library - the Library classes will be held in individual classrooms, however the Librarian will be located in the school office.
- Mrs Tulloch will operate from the staffroom near the Kinder room and the staff will use the Parish centre for their break room.
Please continue to access the school by coming first to the school office.
We look forward to this first temporary move of classrooms as the building works continue to go ahead in leaps and bounds.
Marley Loudon, Archie Maslin and Jackson Downey
who celebrate their birthdays next week.
We hope you enjoy your special day.
Absence Note Requirements during COVID-19
Parents may receive a text about their child's absence from remote home learning for a day with a request for an absence note.
Please do not be worried about receiving these texts. It is a NSW government requirement, even during the COVID-19 remote learning period, that we get an absence note.
We are not concerned if your child does not complete work on a given day, however please send an absence note indicating a leave day or your child was sick, so we can input into the system.
P & F Meeting
We are aiming to have a P & F meeting on Thursday the 28th of May at 7pm.
Usually this is held in the school library but this time it will be held in the Parish Centre.
If we are still unable to meet face to face we will arrange a video meeting via Microsoft Teams. Parents can join the meeting if they use their child's Microsoft Teams login, on either their child's device or their own.
All parents and carers are welcome to attend.
