It is with great pleasure that I announce Mrs Angela Scott has accepted our offer to stay at St Mary’s as Assistant Principal in a permanent capacity.

In 2019, Angela has made significant contributions to our school and I am excited to move forward with Angela at St Mary’s.  Her wealth of knowledge about our education system and the Catholic Faith has been a wonderful addition to our executive and teaching teams.  Angela has a wonderful rapport with our students and she has their wellbeing as her central focus.  Angela brings a vibrant, approachable and witty personality to our school and I encourage you to congratulate her when you see her next.

Congratulations Ange, this is a well-deserved appointment.

Parents wishing to enrol their child in the 2020 Kindergarten class are asked to have their online enrolment application or enrolment forms completed ASAP.

This will allow the school time to finalise staffing arrangements for next year.  Letters of welcome with orientation information will be sent once a student is enrolled.

If you have nomiated your child to sit the ICAS tests this year please note that we have the final test next week - English will be held on Tuesday the 17th of September.

If students were absent on a test day we will attempt to catch up on Tuesday, however as the tests are online and only open for a small window of time this may not be possible.

Bellarwi Country Women's Association Education Grants

Bellarwi CWA are calling for applications for the Phillip Group Education Grants 2020. 

These are for students going into Years 3 to 12 or first year Tertiary/TAFE education and are intended to assist families with the financial responsibilities associated with educating their children.

Application forms are available from the school office and they must be returned to the school by Monday 23 September 2019.

Toppy School Performance

Our Kinder to Year 4 classes attended the Toppy school performance "The Greatest Show" at the S&C Club on Friday.

Our Year 3/4 students described the performance as "funny, uplifitng, awsome, creative and inspirational".

It is always good for our students to see a performance in preparation for our end of year show.
