The word of the Lord.
A reading from the letter of St Paul to the Philippians
I want you to be happy, always happy in the Lord;
I repeat, what I want is your happiness.
Let your tolerance be evident to everyone: the Lord is very near.
There is no need to worry; but if there is anything you need, pray for it, asking God for it with prayer and thanksgiving, and that peace of God, which is so much greater than we can understand, will guard your hearts and your thoughts, in Christ Jesus.
We would like to thank and congratulate the many people who helped make our Speech Night and Hoodwinked performance a great night for all.
Congratulations to the students on their fantastic performances. The singing was brilliant, with all the children so enthusiastic.
Thank you to the teachers for the hard work they put in to bring the production together, especially Mrs Harland.
Parents are also to be congratulated for their wonderful work in providing the children with the requested costumes, and as mentioned last night who thought brown could look so good?
We would like thank Chris Butcher for his help with the sound.
We would also like to thank our sponsors St Mary's Parish, Goldenfields Water, West Wyalong Lions Club, West Wyalong Rotary Club, West Wyalong Returned Services League, South West Slopes Credit Union, Commonwealth Bank, The Scott, Nicholson, Wungluck, Nowlan and Kennedy families.
Thank you to the West Wyalong Services & Citizens club for the use of the auditorium for rehearsals and performances.

Dear Parents,
We warmly welcome all families, friends and parishioners to our liturgies this Christmas. We have Christmas Eve Mass at 6:30pm in West Wyalong that focuses on families. On Christmas Day the Masses are at Ungarie at 8.00am and West Wyalong at 9:30am.
In particular Fr Emil is seeking students to help with altar serving or being a Nativity Character for the Masses. A student who is a good reader would also be welcome to read at one of the Masses.
We will be practicing the nativity procession, reading and altar serving training during the last school week for those students who have returned the permission slip below. If you could please fill in the form below, advising us of your attendance at the Mass and return it to school by Monday 17 December, that would be appreciated.
With thanks
