Public Speaking
Well done to the students who qualified for our ‘speak off’ with Lake Cargelligo. All students spoke tremendously well. Congratulations to Will McDonell, Hannah McDonell and Pippa Cuthbertson who travelled today to St Mary’s in Young for the Western Region Finals. A special thanks to Lou Daniher and Kylie Tulloch for adjudicating.
Good Luck to Indi and Meila Fair, Lexi Patton and our Senior (Max Cuthbertson, James Dean, Nate Sams and Edward Tulloch) and Junior (Billy Pettit, Ricky Smith, Will McDonell and Hugh Ridley) boys relay teams that will represent the Western Region at the Archdiocesan Athletics Championships in Canberra on Tuesday. We are so proud of you!!

Our Year 3/4 students will be travelling to Temora on Thursday to compete at the Trent Barrett Shield rugby league gala day.
Students will be supplied with uniforms and will receive them on the day
The draw has now been finalised and can be found here and on Compass. The bus will leave school at 9am sharp!!
Please ensure your child arrives to school with a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and the food they will require for the day, plus any protective equipment including head gear, mouth guards and football boots.
THERE WILL BE A CANTEEN OPERATING.
We also suggest a change of clothes.
Mrs Harland and Mrs Iverach will be with the students on the bus and at the games.
Parents are most welcome to attend to cheer on the teams.

We have noticed for some time the wastage occurring with juice bombs due to them being a can. We have made the decision to switch to Chill J which is essentially the same and even made by the same company but is produced in a bottle. We will trial a few flavours over the coming months until we settle on some favourites.The following products have also changed after the feedback we gathered from the student survey conducted in Term 2:

* Pies have returned to Four’N Twenty brand
~ Frozen loaves of Garlic Bread are available on Qkr! To purchase due to an over order. They can be picked up on a Monday at 3:20pm until further notice ~

Wednesday 6th September
The West Wyalong Show Day is a half day public holiday in our town. In lieu of the St Mary's Twilight Swimming Carnival, the CEO Canberra Goulburn has granted approval for our school to close for the morning of show day.
This means children and staff will not come to school on show day and gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy a full day at the show. Bus companies have been informed of this change.
