A Prayer of the First Sunday of Advent
Great Giver of all that is, show us how much we have received through your abundant generosity.
Satisfy our restless hearts with the assurance of your love for us, that we will grow to desire your potter's hands shaping and moulding us.
AMEN

- Year 6 Graduation Dinner - Year 6 - a paper invitation was sent to each Year 6 family with information on the dinner at the S&C Club. Please call the school office to give your child's meal choice. PAYMENT CAN BE MADE USING QIKR - FOLLOW THIS LINK FOR INSTRUCTIONS. We are trialling QIKR for school payments and we welcome you to help with the trial. A couple of points to note are: search for West Wyalong not St Mary's, add your children and add your card. Once you choose Adult Dinner and the number attending, add to cart, then choose the child dinner and add to cart. When you checkout you can delete items or add more. Please call the school for help if needed.

Our school Speech Day will be Thursday the 10th of December from 9.30m at the S&C Club.
The ceremony will start with awards being presented to students. Parents of Year 6 students and students who are receiving a major award have been invited to attend. An electronic form has been sent to the parents and this will need to be completed as only invited guests will be able to enter the venue.
Students will walk to the S&C Club for both the award ceremony and the later class performances with their class teachers.
Following the major awards, due to COVID-19 restriction numbers, parents who were at the award ceremony will need to leave the venue. Unfortunately no parents will be able to attend the class performances. Each performance will be filmed and distributed to parents.
All students should come to school in their school uniform. Children will get changed into any costumes as required before the class performance.
The Year 5 students who nominated for School Captain, and were successful in the first round of voting, will speak to the whole school, and invited parents, in the church on Wednesday the 9th of December at 9.10am.
These students are:
Indi Loudon, Amelia Alchin, Layla Player, Sarah Pettit, Charlie Murdoch, Tommy Anderson, Ted Curry and Harry Morton.
Teachers and students from Years 2 to 5 will then vote for our 2021 School Captains. The votes are weighted 50% teachers and 50% students.

REMINDER OF PROCEDURE WHEN PICKING UP YOUR CHILDREN
FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN PLEASE NOTE THE CURRENT WALKING PROCEDURE
Children who are walking should follow the same procedure that is in place currently due to the building work. The laneway leading to the southern end of town (cricket pitch end) has become the access point for machinery and heavy vehicles. Therefore students walking to the southern end of town can leave the school from the Church Street entry (netball court) or the England Street bus stop area.
Please note that students walking home are not permitted to walk through the Church carpark lane. Students may only enter the church carpark with their parents. The school has a teacher on lawn duty to monitor student pickup in this area.
Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
