A Message from our Principal
Dear Parents and Carers
Once again, I’d like to thank each of you for your continued support of our school.
I know I speak for all staff when I say we are excited to welcome students back to school next week and to have classrooms buzzing with learning once again.
The wellbeing of our students, staff and school community is important to us.
We will still have our student hygiene procedures in place and our cleaner has a detailed cleaning and disinfecting routine in the classrooms and common areas such as the lunch area. In line with social distancing protocols we will not resume face to face assemblies or school Mass until advised it is safe to do so and we encourage parents to adhere to social distancing guidelines in our school grounds.
In line with this we would like to remind parents that they should say goodbye to their children on the grass area near the new school office. Due to social distancing restrictions placed on schools, parents must not take their child to their classroom to drop bags and should not enter a classroom. This will also apply each afternoon.
We must all remain vigilant in maintaining health and hygiene protocols in the weeks and months ahead. If your child is unwell, it is important that they remain at home and follow the government advice.
Parents are most welcome to come to the office and we can assist you to see a teacher if required.
Be assured that access to the school and classrooms will return to our pre COVID-19 arrangements as soon as possible.
The current environment of COVID-19 is constantly changing and I will keep you informed of any updates as soon I receive them.
Thank you, once again, for your on-going support.
Phil Nielsen
